It is safe to say that my relentless passion for the outdoors has undoubtedly shaped me into the man that I am today and I’d like to tell you just a few reasons why. From my earliest memories as a child I recall the days spent on the water or in the woods with my father. Unlike most fisherman, I actually can’t recount the story of my first catch as I was still in pull-ups and riding backwards in my father’s green Jeep. As the years quickly went by my passion for the outdoors grew, but something had changed. I developed a competitive nature that was unshakable and I wanted nothing more than to build my career in this industry. After graduating from Obion County High School in 2009 I was accepted to Bethel University and was among the first to receive a bass fishing scholarship. This afforded me the opportunity to experience fishing in a new light and meet many new faces that I will forever be grateful for. It was not far into the duration of my college career that I found enjoyment in educating people in the sport of fishing. After graduating college in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business management I knew that guiding professionally was the only career path for me.
I now reside in Paris, Tennessee with a wife who I love dearly and two beautiful boys that share the same passion for the outdoors as I do. The days that I’m not guiding in a professional sense, you can usually find me on the lake guiding my two boys to our favorite bluegill bed or sharing a morning in the duck blind. The outdoors holds a special place in my heart and I look forward to spending time with you on the water soon!
